  • Susan Preble has served in various fiscal policy roles at the Indiana Senate, the City of Indianapolis, and Indiana State University. Specifically, she spent close to 17 years as the Fiscal Analyst for the Democratic Caucus of the Indiana State Senate. She was also previously a member of the IFPI Advisory Committee.
  • Ben Tooley is a senior director of public affairs in Taft’s Public Affairs Strategies Group. He joined Taft following nearly two decades serving as a trusted fiscal policy advisor to the elected leadership of the Republican Caucus of the Indiana House of Representatives. Ben was also the lead legislative staffer responsible for the development of eight state biennial budgets, including the most recent $46 billion state budget enacted in April 2025.
